Fifi was there and I'll tell you all about the event and more.
On Friday, August 25, Partille Arena opened its doors at 10:00 sharp to welcome thousands of knitting lovers, artisans, knitters, hobbyists or anyone interested in the textile or craft world.
Its organizers Linnea Olsson, Sanna Lindén and Lena Fernholm from @Sy&Hantverksfestival with all their dedication and patience spend months preparing every detail, organizing, informing and facilitating each participant throughout the entire process of the fair. Their admirable work and effort is admirable.
Friday started rainy but that did not prevent the beautiful stands that had been prepared with care, effort and hopes of satisfying and attracting visitors from showing off. In just over a couple of square meters, a whole product aesthetic was built. With strategy, method and experience, each stand was seductive in itself.
Fifi, on the other hand, a beginner but excited, did not have time to design or prepare everything that would have been desirable for a stand in good condition, but you always start somewhere, and we are here to learn.
The important thing is that at that stand we met a lot of people, we learned and we offered the best Fifi products to everyone's satisfaction. So we have fond memories and a big thank you to all those who stopped to meet us, who gave us a chance, who bought from us and who, in short, were interested in us.
This was our improvised and humble stand where what really stood out was the quality of the luxurious products from our brands @coloscowool_fibers, @casasol.filicor and @hilaturaslm
Fifi also collaborated with the fair's competition and we were lucky enough to meet the two winners of the same, Marie Standar and Helena Krantzh.
This is Marie, with an enviable kindness and good humor, who is also an incredible knitter. I wholeheartedly recommend that you see her wonderful work. You can see the wonders she knits on Instagram @garngaraget #garngaraget
Helena also came to collect her award, who so kindly collected her award and allowed us to immortalize the moment she passed by our stand. For both of us, a 200 kr voucher, another discount voucher, very soft 100% merino wool from Uruguay from #Uyyarn and a few more things in the bag.
But not only that, one of the best things was meeting two fellow stand members that you have to meet.
The first is Jenny Kedebäck Larsson, from Kalmar, a fantastic knitter who started knitting at the age of eight with the help of her mother and grandparents. She remembers that her first project was at Christmas surrounded by her family. Jenny is a true enthusiastic devotee collaborating in all kinds of communities related to knitting, wool, etc. She has never stopped knitting and claims the right of everyone to develop that creative part so necessary that feeds the most positive part of ourselves.
She has also collaborated on knitting projects for those most in need and has been an active creator on Instagram. A great inspiration has been the contact with knitters from all over the world who share products and ideas across the globe.
She has her own artisan business in which she dyes wool with optimistic tints that make you want to live just by looking at them. She sells her own shawls and knitted products, as well as bags and knitting accessories.
You can't miss her and her products. Full of vitality, she gives herself with all kindness and delicacy to serve her clients, explaining, understanding and attending to their needs. Optimistic, radiant and energetic like her colors and products, she fills her stand with everything beautiful and sweet that accompanies the knitter in his hobby and passion. I declare myself a fan of this great hard-working and passionate craftswoman who combines Swedish tradition with modernity and the most modern eclecticism.

She works and collaborates summer courses for different educational institutions and hopes in the future that the world of crafts will develop and that both she and other artisans can live 100% from crafts.
Finally, we share the fair with a crochet bag designer. Ritah Ricky. Ritah dreams of making her brand international and is already having a lot of success on Instagram and with her website. You can see some of her stylish and beautiful designs at www.ritahricky.com and @rickyritahcrochet
This radiant designer of unparalleled beauty has a long career in fashion catwalks and beauty contests, which makes her the ideal handbag creator for elegant and glamorous outfits, as well as those full of sensuality and color. Like many of us, she needs to use her hands to create beautiful things. Although she lives in Sweden, her personality and inspiration convey to us the life, joy and richness of the beauty of the African continent. We look forward to hearing more about your success and we wish you the best of luck, Ritah Ricky!
